Review by hotel critic
We recently spent a family vacation at Romantik, nestled in the heart of a historic city, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere that suits families looking for a peaceful retreat. Our room offered a lovely view of the working winery, and the thoughtfully renovated bathroom was a nice touch. Despite its age, the building holds charm, making up for what it may lack in modern perfection. The outdoor courtyard, where we imagined future family gatherings, was enchanting with ripe grapes adorning the canopies, although it was a bit quiet due to the season. One of the highlights was the eventful social program! We enjoyed informative vineyard walks and wine tastings with Eva Pfaff-Düker, which were a hit with the adults while the kids explored. We even ventured out for a canoeing tour along the Main with Walkerwater, which became a fantastic family outing. If you're looking for a family-friendly destination steeped in history and wine, this place is definitely worth considering.
